What it Means to Be a Fierce Woman
Being a fierce woman is a way of life. It’s glam, it’s chic, and it’s happening! But what does it actually mean?
Fierce women keep it real. They’re not two-faced. Unless, of course, we’re talking about your no makeup face and your full glam face. That’s perfectly acceptable. What isn’t acceptable is pretending to be a genuine and fierce woman while doing the opposite behind closed doors. Some women speak at women’s summits and claim to wish women well, all the while prancing around in suede boots, attempting to ruin other women’s marriages, friendships, and families. It’s so sad.
Daily reminder: Your soulmate isn’t another woman’s man. Fierce women would never.
Unfortunately, there are always a few rancid apples in the bunch. But being a fierce woman means you rise above that bullshit and carry on living your best life. Like Christina Aguilera said on the Stripped intro, “No hype, no glass, no pretence, just me.” And that’s something you can wholeheartedly say to the world when you’re a confident, nothing-to-hide, fierce woman.
What it Means to Be a Fierce Woman
Confidence radiates off of you
Forget highlighter, your confidence is all the glow you need. Even if you’re not one-hundred percent confident in everything you do, you know how to fake it. But you’re not fake. Ew. There’s a big difference.
You treat others how you want to be treated
You live your life by this motto. And not only do you treat others the way you want to be treated, but you treat women the way you’d want to be treated. It astounds me how some fierce females can be so nasty towards other women. For example: gossiping behind a girlfriend’s back or tearing someone down for no reason other than your own personal gain. So gross.
A drama-free life is the only way to live
Did you know? Drama gives you wrinkles! Well, I’m no dermatologist but that sounds pretty accurate. When you live your life as a fierce woman, petty drama is so far beneath you and your red-soled stilettos. Or comfy Jacquemus Nike sneakers. Remember when I wrote a post about cutting negative frenemies out of my life? Since then, I haven’t had to show anyone else the exit to my life and that feels damn good.
Your love & respect comes from within
You know that you deserve the best. You deserve to be treated right. Not only by other people in your life, but by yourself. The way you talk to yourself in your head can have a huge effect on your life. When people tell you you’re smart, beautiful, and kind, believe them. Don’t let ugly thoughts change your view of yourself.
Pouncing towards your best version is natural
Wake up, drink water, pounce after your goals, repeat. Does your daily routine go a little something like that? Then congrats! You’re a fierce woman. It wouldn’t feel right not to channel your best self. Right now my best version includes being an absolutely super mom for my kids as well.
