Eek! The Manhattan Mishap Has an Official Pre-Order Date
So, you know that little book thing I’ve been working on? Well, I have some fabulous news! Seriously. I am beyond excited to let you know that you’ll be able to pre-order The Manhattan Mishap starting on Saturday November 13, 2021. Eek! Is this really happening? Yes, yes it is. Somebody pinch me.
So many years, months, and stressed out afternoons have been spent on this book. This is such a cliché, but it’s amazing to me how this whole thing started out as a small, saucy idea and from there it just took on a life of its own. And now it’s a book. An actual book. With pages and an author blurb and artwork and everything! (Also an e-book, but I’m more of a physical book person.)
Where can you pre-order The Manhattan Mishap?
For starters, through my personal bookstore. I have 115 copies of The Manhattan Mishap hardcover ready to go. Well, maybe “ready to go” isn’t the right phrase. I’ve ordered them from my publisher and they should be arriving at my apartment in a few weeks. So, you’ll be able to place your order and then I’ll ship the book—or books—out to you once I have them. And once I get a chance to wrap it up all gorgeous with a handwritten note!
At first, only the hardcover edition will be available. Unsurprisingly—with all of the other crazy occurrences this pandemic has brought—there’s a paper shortage and the paperback has been delayed. However, I don’t think it’s that big of a deal. It’s all good. After all, Mariah Carey didn’t release the paperback of her memoir until, like, a year later. So, I’m just pulling a Mimi.

In about 2-6 weeks, The Manhattan Mishap will be available to order via Indigo, Amazon, FriesenPress, Barnes & Noble, NOOK, Kobo, and more. It just depends on when these retailers refresh their new arrivals. So, if you’d rather get your copy from one of those hot spots, keep checking!
