Oscars Watch Party at Soho House Holloway
Watching the Oscars at Soho House in Los Angeles felt like a pinch me moment. Like, it’s official: we live in LA. It’s been just over a year but still, sometimes it’s shocking to remember that we left Toronto behind for endless sun, palm trees, and a pinch of everyday glamour.
What did I wear?
— Jacquemus Le Robe Cubo blazer dress
— Tony Bianco Fantasy boots
— Vintage knot earrings
— Jacquemus tortoiseshell sunglasses
— Jacquemus Le Bambino bag
For those asking: no, Jacquemus does not sponsor me, I just happen to love their clothes.
What did we drink? Holloway spritz and mojitos. And what did we eat? Too much. Calamari, meatballs, truffle fries, steak, gelato. Seeing people on-screen at the Oscars who were on Ozempic did nothing to lessen our ravenous appetites. We love to eat.
Soho House Holloway was cute, but I definitely prefer the West Hollywood location. The watch party was also super unorganized, which was shocking. But we still had a great time. After sitting at the bar and waiting for a table to become available, we were able to snag a corner booth with a view of the TV. We stayed cozied up there for the rest of the evening.
Earlier that day, we’d gone to our usual Sunday farmers market, where I was decidedly more casual. You can check out the laid-back look below. All the outfit details are in the reel.
