I can’t believe that in just one short month, I’ll be living in Los Angeles. How insane is that? I’ve never thought about living there. Ever. Just when you think life can’t get any more unpredictable, you move to a city you’ve never dreamed of. I’m so excited. And nervous. And overwhelmed. But mostly excited.

My first impression of LA was that it was huge, not very walkable, and of course, gorgeous. It also reminded me a lot of Sydney — my home before I moved to Toronto. I definitely miss living in Australia and I would probably still be living there if it wasn’t so far away. However, if I can get my Aussie vibes in North America, even better!

Another thing I noticed about the city were the laid-back outfits. Most people I saw were pretty casual. And anyone who knows me, knows my looks are usually a level or two about “casual.” Unless I’m hanging out at home with my twins, that’s a different story. However, after watching a Vogue video on YouTube about Los Angeles street style, I feel like I’m not alone in my mission to serve looks whenever I walk out the door.
