Coming soon: The Manhattan Mishap at Indigo Mayfair! That’s right. You heard it here first. Copies of my chick-lit novel are going to be in a physical bookstore! And in my hometown no less. I’m beyond excited.

However, what I need to know is: Are you ready to grab a copy of The Manhattan Mishap at Indigo Mayfair? After all, it’s a cutthroat world out there. And I’m not gonna lie, I need you. Books only get 60 days to hit their sales goals before they’re assessed for returns. Yikes.

Remember the post I wrote about Book Return Insurance? This is precisely why. It’s the big bookstore’s way of covering their costs. If a book isn’t selling they don’t want to keep it on the shelves taking up valuable space. So, they return it.

Although I’m confident that you won’t want to return my book after reading it.

In just two weeks, you can shop The Manhattan Mishap at Indigo Mayfair. Are you ready?

I wish I could sneak a trip back to Victoria to check out my book for myself. Unfortunately, with 6-month-old twins at home, a quick trip isn’t feasible. Unless I could somehow convince my husband to watch them for a weekend.

Back when I was studying fashion design, it was my ultimate dream to be published. However, I never thought that I’d have a book in an actual bookstore! Let alone Indigo! Or Chapters, as I used to know it as. Going to Chapters was one of my favourite things to do as a kid. I’ll never forget going there with my dad and being allowed to pick out one special book.

Dreams really do come true!

Don’t forget to snap a photo if you go see a shelf full of The Manhattan Mishap! And definitely tag me on social media. I’d love to see your pics!

For now you can shop through Indigo’s online store. Or you can always purchase a signed copy from my bookstore.
